Learning about the client

Rachael Pielow has a clear vision for her business – she’s a traditional Personal Assistant who works in a modern world – bringing traditional values and skills into modern workplaces.  With many years of experience for both individual private clients and a range of businesses, Rachael needs a website that will cater to both individuals and businesses.

Rachael’s vision for her website was a blend of a professional style, with mediterranean splashes of colour.  Initially, we played around with the use of abstract shapes, before deciding to pare back to a cleaner and more minimal site.

Before starting the website build, Rachael and I went into real depth to best understand her clients, and what they would need from her website.  I sketched out what needed to be included within the site, and what the client journey would be.

Creating a pricing page

I loved creating the pricing page for Rachael’s website.

It can be really challenging to develop a pricing page layout and content, which is informative and open, with an emphasis on what’s included and the benefits, rather than just the cost.

Rachael was keen that we use her pricing page to set out answers to the key questions her potential clients might have.  This is a great way to share key information with potential clients before they get in touch – ensuring that there are no mixed messaging on something as important as terms and conditions.

The client was very pleased with the end result – and has since moved onto a monthly website care plan with Web Alchemy.
